our inside

...and here are some of our inside choices. We have gone with the neutral colours inside the home. This way we can add colour with accessories and furniture and is easy to change if we get sick of it. We have gone with white ceilings, skirtings, architraves and doors and kidskin walls throughout. For the colours on the wall I was looking for something in the same tone but with a bit more pink in it, but had trouble finding one that I liked. This should look good as well and it's not too much of a yellowy tone, which is important to me.

For the kitchen we decided on Linen for the caesarstone - it's pretty subtle as Mark doesn't like the look of the ones with the pebbles in it - , laminex white polyurethane with the gloss pencil edge and cappuccino for the glass splashback. It should go nicely with the white bifold window Mark is making for that area.

For the bathrooms, we chose white cupboards and stipple seal for the benchtop. I am a little nervous about the colour choice as almost all of the bathrooms I have seen have a light benchtop and dark cupboards, but as we aren't having light tiles on the floor, I didn't want dark on dark. Plus I know that benchtops can get quite dirty very easily. Miss A seemed to think that it would look nice.

The colour for the carpet is the savino range and is called forte. We thought having an in between carpet would be a good option for both light and dark stains.

We haven't had our tile appointment yet and am a bit anxious to get them picked. I hope that there are good colours in the standard range. Will let you know when we have picked what we want.
