Went by the block today before work and I am happy that I didn't expect to much. Nothing was done today but it was a great opportunity to get some daylight pics :).
Hi Fee, Your bricks are looking good... we are planning on using silver & pepper as a feature brick, just like danma's house. We are building at Camden Acres. Hope your brickies return soon! Loretta
Hey thanks loretta. We love them too. I stood there the other day staring at them like the man on the colorbond ad :). We actually were going to go all of the pepper bricks at one stage but decided to render part of it later on so we just went with the standard range... Yeah, Danma's house looks amazing with the combination of bricks and I love camden acres. Let me know how you go.
Hi Fee,We took a drive around Spring Farm yesterday & I think we drove past your build!! It was a corner block opposite terrace- type houses with a wisdom sign & silver bricks!Lovely spot with nice rural views.I can see why you are having the extra car accom as the streets are narrow.. just like Camden acres!..makes it hard to have a good sticky ha ha.We also discovered the house 2 blocks away from us are having silver bricks(well they look like them)We all must have good taste. We are just waiting to sign contracts & then the plans will go to council. Loretta
Hey, yeah that's us. Oh my goodness, the parking :O it's already driving us crazy and we aren't even in there yet. I am hoping that people don't park on our side when it's done but unfortunately I know that they will. Yep, we must all have great taste ;). I can't wait to see them all cleaned up and dry, then we can see how they really look. I bet you can't wait to start posting heaps of new pics on your blog? when do you think they will start?
Maybe you could put up a no parking sign,ha ha.When we drove around the corner from your place there were cars parked on both sides & 1 had the door open!..the owner quickly ran back & closed it.Luckily we don't have houses opposite us,just the golf course.Yes I can't wait to start posting pics of the build. Not sure when they will start hopefully not long after council approval. We are just waiting on unconditional approval from the bank before we sign the building contract. Good luck with the bricking, Loretta
Yeah, I know it's going to drive us mad. But when we lived in a unit at Menai, we had to park about a 5 minute walk away from where we lived cos there wasn't enough parking. So we really shouldn't complain... Yeah, Mark would be soo jealous of you as he is a BIG golfing fan. He would have loved to be where you are, but at least we aren't that far away from there...I met a client the other day who works for the council and he was saying that they are really trying to push the approvals through with council. We were extremely lucky that ours took one (business) day to be approved. But the bank took FOREVER to give Wisdom the ok letter in order to start. Hopefully yours is quicker than ours was :).

After getting married in March 2009, my brand new husband and I are building our first home together. We are soo excited to be able to share this experience with each other and can't wait to start making new memories after our home is built.....
Now, almost 10 months later, after moving into our home and whilst frantically completing our much needed jobs around the house, I embark on a brand new journey. My health. It seems that the stresses involved in building and the contentment that is attatched to marital bliss has allowed me to let my health and fitness slip by the wayside. My new journey is one of health and wellbeing. Where I may learn more about my passion, nutrition, and maybe lose a few extra kilos in the meantime.
