underfloor heating... done.

So we raced by after work to get the underfloor heating in before the sun went down, but we were too slow. So while I finished off my jobs as the worlds best apprentice, Mark drove to Bunnings to buy an extention lead and a little flood light so we could finish the job. It was pitch black by the time he got back and by the time we were all set and ready to go, the unthinkable happened... we had a blackout. WT...? Thanks to an extremely patient wife to counteract her extremely impatient husband and the light of a mobile phone, we finally got the job done. And what a fantastic job it was... I tell you what though, this heating better be bloody worth it ;D.

  2. Ooh la la... under floor heating, very nice! Your house is coming along nicely..oops about the home theatre window glad to see that it was fixable though. To answer your question yes I do work for Qantas, its a funny thing that 6 degrees of separation :) . It seems very uncanny but after reading a lot of your comments, it would seem we have a few things in common too. Both you and M share the same profession, we lived in Menai too and now we are building in the same suburb with the same builder...very bizarre.

  4. Hey annie, I think that it cost us just over $700 for the bathrooms... when Mark told me that he wanted to do it I said no way, thought it would be heaps more than that.

  6. Oh my goodness B, that is soo funny. I am suprised everyday what a small world it is. But as you would probably know all to well, hairdressers find out everything, we like to talk, what can I say :D. Where abouts in Menai did you live?... I know, pretty schmick hey? I still think that it may be a little too fancy for us but I am sure I will not take it forgranted when its the middle of winter and i am racing to the shower to warm up :).
